École Meridian Heights
School (K–9)

Parents

A strong focus and commitment to maximize academic success makes our school successful. We know that École Meridian Heights School is serving students well academically when:

  • Student results on provincial achievement tests are regularly higher than their peers in the province.
  • The majority of students participate in one or more of the extracurricular opportunities offered at the school.

Furthermore, we know our school is “great” because of ongoing strong parent involvement and support.

Quotes From Parents

“We have two children attending École Meridian Heights, one in the French Immersion program and one in the English program. We appreciate all of the opportunities our children have because of the dedicated, supportive staff. École Meridian Heights has its own culture based on Be the Best You Can Be and in every opportunity offered, every member of the staff supports our children to Be the Best They Can Be.

There is something for every student including Sports, Music and Academics but what really stands out to us is that whatever our children choose, they receive the same consistent foundation of support, encouragement, and expectations regardless of age or language. This consistency has created a community with the same culture and when attending any event or field trip with students from our school we are proud of not only what students know but how they behave as a community.”

“Meridian Heights School is an exciting learning community where my kids have so many opportunities to grow: artistically, socially, physically, and intellectually. Over the years, the teachers, administration and staff get to know the children as individuals and encourage them to “Be the Best They Can Be”. I appreciate all the time and care that the staff at Meridian Heights invest in children. I believe that this has built a strong relationship where my children have courage to try new things and the confidence to succeed.”
